As you might expect, this printer has a very conventional design, with an unusual addition to the overhang at the front and cosmetic thin inset near join between the scanner and the closing of the machine body.
Support for the paper feed tray stand-up the back with a flat on top of the printer when not in use. Output tray folds down from the front and thick wonderful support page extends to the future. It is a design that is simple, but it works very effectively.
A device with a function in its own right, such as photocopying all-in-one can do, the need to control, but the HP limit second only three buttons to copy black and color and to cancel the work print. The fourth button turns the printer on and off. Three Orange indicators, one for paper and the other two for low ink.
The back is low voltage socket to connect to the small black block, power supply and the USB socket, the only data connection.
The installation of two ink cartridges and head, one black and one tri-color, a little awkward, because they already work out quite the way inside the machine and can be accessed folds down cover, who sits behind a tray of paper output. The cartridge slide and click up into position and close the closing set of the machine go.
You need to print an alignment page, which is then scanned on a flatbed machine to complete alignment. The scanner is a simple Contact Image Sensor (CIS) tool but, like the rest of the machine, this is more than adequate for basic functions.
The provided CD including drivers for Windows and OS X and copies of HP Scan, which can handle scanning to JPG, PDF or TIF, although there are no Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software-it would be reasonable to expect it, at a price. This tool can scan up to 1, 200ppi, is more than enough if you want to use third party OCR software with DeskJet 1050.

Setup instructions for HP Deskjet 1000 Printer - J110a
- Click the download link,
- Select "Save", specify the drive/folder (Save As), then
